**New in LATHE QUICK CODE 2000**

We have evaluated Lathe Quick Code (LQC) and liked it so much that we included it in our Lathe Training Package. LQC generates code for cnc lathes in a Fanuc 6 or newer programming style, and calculates the cutting speed, based on material type, and associated factors. It works like a conversational mode, allowing you to set defaults, fill in the blanks, and generate G code.

It will save you time trying to get to code, for a lot of commonly used tools (drilling, reaming, tapping, chamfer/centerdrill, threading, and grooving). Quick Code eliminates the need to spend time drawing a part first. It will copy the code to the clipboard, at the click of the copy button, to paste directly into a Windows text editor, such as Vector or other programs. It uses the feature information to generate the code. Lathe Quick Code text can be edited, and has an entry for adding comments to the code.

Error prevention means no typing errors, no overlooked items, no speed calculation errors. The calculating and typing have been done for you. If you make a mistake, you can undo it. You can undo step by step, to correct as many steps as needed.

Money saving refers to less time spent programming or drawing parts (not necessary with Lathe Quick Code), and less time calculating. That leaves more time for making money. With LQC's low cost, you may pay for it in the first day, or first few hours of programming. It also saves unneeded hair loss, as you won't spend time pulling yours out, while trying to hunt for a hidden error you made in your code.
