vectorcam is an excellent software for CNC milling, especially when it comes to efficient strategies for roughing and finishing. Gentle tool use and a focus on optimal results are crucial to producing high-quality parts.
High-speed milling (HSC) and trochoidal milling (TSC) ensure long tool life with high feed rates and infeed depths. The surface quality remains high. In addition, vectorcam automatically detects and removes residual material.
During the calculation of the milling paths, vectorcam monitors the model geometry, clamping devices, tools and tool holders in order to avoid collisions. For short machining paths and fast machining, vectorcam optimizes the milling paths.
Databases for tool and technology data are also stored in vectorcam to facilitate NC programming.
vectorcam offers a powerful module for turning and turn-milling. In doing so, vectorcam combines all turning, drilling and milling operations into a single unit.

For our precision engineering and laser processing, we work with the 4-axis module from vectorcam. We use it to laser a wide variety of contours in different tubes. The results are absolutely satisfactory and the operation of the software is very simple.
