Simpler processing of complex orders

Increasing customer requirements led to the decision to invest in CAD/CAM software. The requirements for the new software were user-friendliness, manageable costs, a wide range of applications and smooth processing.

However, in addition to the wide range of applications within production, there were other reasons for the changeover. The increasingly complex customer orders needed to be processed more easily and quickly in order to achieve greater efficiency in production.

The choice fell on the vectorcam software, which was quickly integrated into the daily work routine thanks to its user-friendliness.

The switch to vectorcam then took place at the beginning of 2017. In order to get to know the software in detail, the company took advantage of a live demonstration on site by one of our technical sales employees. The various functions and options offered by the software, including 3D milling, were discussed and implemented directly on the machines.

After a few months of familiarization and the additional advanced training in November 2017, the software was increasingly integrated into the daily applications and has since made work in production much easier. Even more complex customer orders can now be processed more effectively and error-free on modern machining centers. The time saved by the vectorcam software has had a consistently positive impact on processes so far.

The software is now used on a total of four 3- and 5-axis machines, which produce individual parts and small series for in-house products such as devices and systems.
