Investment with added value

In order to take full advantage of the possibilities offered by the newly acquired VH1300 3-axis machining center from MMD and a WH105 3 + 2-axis boring machine from TOS, the next logical step was to purchase a suitable CAD/CAM system to make production even more effective. 
After an extensive search, the company came across vectorcam GmbH, whose technical staff gave a detailed presentation of the software of the same name on the premises of VetterTec GmbH. After intensive use of the trial version offered by vectorcam, it quickly became clear that the right CAD/CAM system had been found. The final purchase decision was not only influenced by the competent advice, but also by the good price-performance ratio.

The CAM software vectorcam is used at VetterTec in conjunction with Inventor, Mechanical Desktop and an ERP system for data management. The software is also suitable for working from home via VPN access, which has been extensively tested and proven during the pandemic situation in 2020. 

The components produced by VetterTec GmbH range from large stainless steel constructions to general steel components and small PTFE sealing elements. The 3D milling module is primarily used in production. The blank and clamping device managers are particularly important here. If possible, high-feed milling tools are used in production, which is why collision monitoring is an absolute must.
