Today we would like to introduce our new clamping device manager and its use in 3D milling.
With the vectorcam fixture manager, various 3D or solid models can be easily defined as fixtures and stored and managed in a fixture database. It is possible to define self-designed 3D surfaces as well as the data provided by the fixture manufacturer as fixture. Once the file has been defined as a fixture, it can be inserted again and again on a wide variety of components.
The maintenance of a fixture database ensures enormous time savings in CAM programming, since the fixture does not have to be constructed anew each time.
